In the age of digital, snapping away with your phone or digital camera is a cheap and fast solution that most people turn to. But will these methods get you the quality and moment you’re after when photographing your loved ones?
Family photography is about truly capturing life’s memories and displaying these moments with pride of place in your home or wherever you please. Dedicated professionals who have mastered the art of the family portrait understand this and want you to have images that you can really cherish.
By hiring a professional family photographer, you can capture your loved ones at their very best. Great lighting, a special eye for detail, and the tact to get your children to cooperate will give you a portrait that commemorates your family at their utmost finest.
The superior quality of the cameras and printing methods used in professional family photography is important to consider. You don’t need to worry about pixelated images, orange skin, or overexposure. These high quality photos will become keepsakes to pass down to your children as heirlooms.
Visiting a family photographer is truly an investment and a better, sustainable alternative to DIY. With care and enthusiasm dedicated to your images, expect photographs that emit warmth and joy and that truly capture the love you have for your kin.
Here is a look at one of most recent Clients who got the chance to do their Big Belly Little Toes portrait session with us! The Maternity session is a nice session to do before bub arrives, we are able to capture your beautiful pre-baby bump and intimate moments with your loved one. Then when your little bundle of joy arrives we capture the first 10-14days of your newborn’s life with tiny features, feet, button nose and love and cuddles. This is truly a worthwhile experience for you and your family to cherish for your children’s future and for your expanding family.
Ellie and Liam have been having photographs with Ligthbox studio since they first found out that they were pregnant with their eldest daughter. So this time when we started planning and discovering what we were going to do this year for their annual photographs we really put our creative caps and started thinking something special could be found around their neighbourhood (and ours)- and we found it! Tooheys Forest has been somewhere I personally been photographing Arkley since he was born, I just always love the feeling of the forest in the early morning or late afternoon and its only a five minute drive from the studio. Its the perfect playground for moving toddlers and a little adventure- I am sure you will be seeing more of our locations shoots from here over the next year or so.
I have been watching the news with every other Mother and Father out there and my mind is swamped with sadness, fear, questions, heavy thoughts and future projections.
I am wondering how am I going to protect my son forever, can I even feed the idea that this is a possible notion. Many things are unbearable to think about as a parent and my son seeing war is one off them.
Over the next couple of days and weeks as France takes action and as the world changes, I am going to stop and cuddle my little son and breathe in the fact that at this moment he is protected by my arms and by my voice..
I pray for peace x
